Karen Civil is a social media and digital media marketing strategist turned mogul that has worked with some high-profile personnel. Some include the late Nipsey Hussle to Lil Wayne to Nicki Minaj and even Hillary Clinton. She knows tons of people in the industry particularly those in the hip-hop media community.
It all started with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee. He accused Civil of hiring a hacker to take down his Instagram page back in 2018. Lee has since addressed this more in detail on a recent Instagram Live. He even mentions the hacker was even paid 20k for the job. He wanted to get one thing straight, he and his platform tell the truth about what’s going on in the streets.
Comedian, Jessie Woo later published an Instagram post on Friday featuring her lawsuit against Civil after accusing her of stealing 3 million from her.
Civil had this to say about the matter.
Woo has won this lawsuit which is a win so far on the accusers’ side.
Nope, it doesn’t end there.
Saturday afternoon, Joyner Lucas put out a thread of rant tweets accusing Civil of stealing 60K from him around 2015. Lucas went to Civil for brand consulting back in 2014 but she never did her job allegedly.
In later threads, he mentions his attempts on contacting Civil about the money. On one occasion she did contact him back saying not to call her, she’s “on vacation”. At some point, she even blocked him on Twitter.
Civil went on ShadeRoom’s Chatroom last night to talk about business practices in the industry. Civil went on to explain her side of the situation. Her attempt to squash the beef was met with disinterest on Lucas’ part. She later put out a statement on Baller Alert to clear up any misunderstanding about her services.
Lucas recently responded with another tweet to fans.
Other celebrities have now entered this saga with recent tweets of their own experiences with Civil.
This story has been crazier by the hour as more information comes to life. No other responses from Civil nor her team as of yet.
